II teach mixed grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra classes to high-risk students. I used this activiy as an opener for a lesson on the coordinate plane. I projected the interactive on the whiteboard so that I could write additional information such as quadrant numbers, signs of coordinates, etc on the board as we transitioned into the lesson. No technical glitches to report.May 1 2009

One of my biggest frustrations as a pre-algebra teacher is that kids come to me without understanding the coordinate plane and I either have to re-teach it or undo their misconceptions. This is a fun game that would keep kids working on their coordinate plane skills.
